“Z” is for Zelly Day

Every year, Zelly gets a week off from daycare. This year, Wendy and I are splitting time at home with her. Monday was my day and we had a great time going to the playground.

Our Fair Zelly

We went to the Thurston County Fair last week. Zelly was looking forward to a pony ride and we were all looking forward to seeing baby pigs and all the other animals. Unfortunately there weren’t any baby pigs but there were two nursing calves. Zelly opted out of the pony ride and chose the more colorful and exciting merry-go-round instead.


Zelly’s Beach Adventure

Zelly and her moms went to the beach this summer, and she discovered the joys that acres of sand and surf can bring. She also got her first tattoo there, at the ripe old age of 3.5.
