lyrics

Last night I went downstairs to play a little guitar and relax after dinner. Zelly came down soon after, bringing her ukalele. She plopped down and began strumming along with me. When I took a break to do some ironing, she took over center stage, busting out with these original songs (Heidi is her daycare mom):
Special Helper
Heidi, can I be your special helper today
Hei-di-i, can I be your special helper today
cuz I really wanna
I really wanna
be your speci-al-l helper to-oo-day-ay
Want to Be a CareBear
In my heart, I want to be a carebear
I really, really want to be a carebear
cuz I know in my heart, I really want to be a carebear
I want to live with the carebears
I want to be a carebear
Someday, when she’s rich and famous and has an appearance on the Mary Kate and Ashley Talk Show, I’m going to bring these lyrics to light and prove that, yes, she has been this talented since she was a small girl.
You heard it here first.

My friend has a daughter. She’s usually rather shy. But, he’s always done things with her, like making up songs and so on.
Apparently, his daughter has made up some song that’s becoming the school song. It’s a whole song with a crowd/MC thing going on where she sings something and they sing it back.
It should be amusing to hear the song.
